Gucci’s Apothecary Line perfume was designed to represent an open interpretation of love. Made up of Roman Chamomile and Coral Jasmine for an invigorating, floral scent perfect for spring or autumn months.
A harmonious blend of lush floral notes creates an impression of blossoming femininity. Its freshness is enhanced by smooth bergamot and an exotic hint of patchouli.
A Song for the Rose
The brand’s latest scent, named Rose Garden in Bloom, is one of their most beloved offerings. Modeled on the smell of a blooming rose garden, this floral fragrance contains Roman Chamomile and Coral Jasmine as well as Bulgarian Rose and Sweet Musks for an irresistibly light yet complex fragrance perfect for summer wear.
Master Perfumer Alberto Morillas realized Creative Director Alessandro Michele’s floral vision by crafting the luxury collection of seven eaux de parfum, four oils and three acque profumate. Each perfume within this line can be combined together for unique sillage.
A Song for the Rose offers a delicate balance between flower and vanilla notes that recalls nature’s own aromatic harmony and melody. This sensuous fragrance makes a beautiful present for anyone who adores flower scented air!
Memoire d’une Odeur
Memoire d’une Odeur is an aromatic perfume designed to bring peace and serenity into our increasingly stressed-out society. Opening with an invigorating herbal chamomile accord that’s more comforting than overpowering; Roman Chamomile plants which have flourished wild for centuries give the perfume its fresh, greenness; while its blossom adds sweet notes.
This scent becomes more floral with the addition of jasmine and an unidentified “play-doh-like note”, likely an allusion to mineral accord. Gradually, its notes shift towards being woodier and earthy due to the addition of sandalwood and cedar.
Alberto Morillas attempts to create an entirely new olfactory family with this fragrance he calls Mineral Aromatic (an unusual category in modern perfumery). Unfortunately, his aim doesn’t quite succeed and comes off too self-referential for enthusiasts to care about it as much. Still worth trying if you are searching for something fresh, calming, and herbal. Perfect for spring/summer!
The Alchemist’s Garden
Gucci’s Alchemist’s Garden fragrance collection unites the creative visions of Creative Director Alessandro Michele and Master Perfumer Alberto Morillas to convey stories, atmospheres or memories through natural ingredients enhanced with modern molecules.
Love at Your Darkest is a new fragrance for women and men that features a strong, determined regal hawk to invoke emotion and reflect both extreme highs and deep lows of love. Made up of dark woody aromas like Black Pepper, Incense and Cedarwood for maximum impact.
1921 is part of The Alchemist’s Garden luxury collection to pay homage to Florence, where The House first started. This eau de parfum commemorates their centennial with Neroli flower and Limone Cedrato fruit from Florence as its star ingredients; you can amplify, muffle or mix this fragrance to create your own signature sillage.
Bloom
Bloom, Gucci’s inaugural fragrance created under Creative Director Alessandro Michele’s direction, features a refreshing and feminine aroma. Drawing inspiration from women’s authenticity, vitality and diversity it captures their blossoming into individuality and identity.
The perfume begins with a lush jasmine sambac that conjures images of botanical gardens or backyard gardens, balanced by an elegant tuberose note that avoids the “terrible tuberoses” that were so popular in the 80’s – yet is familiar enough that people recognize it immediately.
A clean iris scent paired with natural, non-synthetic gardenia/honeysuckle accord and rare Rangoon Creeper flower were sourced exclusively for this fragrance, creating an exceptional floral fragrance in modern society that offers something refreshingly new compared to generic designer blooms – definitely one to try if you love floral scents!
