Hair salons have taken a serious hit these last few months since the start of the Covid outbreak. Suddenly, the intimate experience of a salon visit has become an area of safety concerns. Many salons have fallen by the wayside but a number of salons are rising to the occasion, improving their standards and welcoming in a new age, where stylists and customers are more protected.
Montreal’s Premier Salon Reopens Post Covid on June 15, 2020
Salon Deauville is one such salon. Deauville is one of Montreal’s tops salons, offering a wide range of spa and salon services, from styling to coloring to mani/pedis to make-up services to laser hair removal—a full-service spa and a favorite of locals and visitors alike.
During the Covid-19 lockdown, Salon Deauville like many salons, shuttered its doors. Yet instead of it weakening their business, the owners and employees spent their quarantine time revisiting every aspect of their business so they could come back stronger—and safer—than ever.
Poised to reopen on June 15th, Salon Deauville will now implement multiple safety measures, including initial temperature checks, sanitation stations, station dividers, and visor-style masks which all stylists must wear. They will be open 7 days a week, so customers and stylists will have the opportunity to choose times where there is less traffic.
Will this new type of salon experience be welcomed by customers? Time will tell. Though many are embracing safer, cleaner environments that have their health and safety at the forefront of their business. Salon Deauville was recently featured on City News as a fine example of going that extra mile for safety and protection which you can watch here.
